Hayley Gadsby

This is my fifth year being a part of ‘Team Lanesend’. I am currently working as an LSA in reception. My job is so rewarding and I love to watch the children blossom in their own unique ways, it’s such a special moment.

Prior to working at Lanesend, I was a nanny and then a childminder for nine years. Throughout those years I have gained many childcare qualifications and have a great knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

I have a wonderful supportive family and live at home with my husband, our two children and family dog. We spend most weekends going on big hikes, exploring the beautiful Island.

Before having my wonderful children, my passion has always been singing and performing from such a very young age. For many years I was a professional singer, where I worked as a singer on P&O, holiday parks and even had the amazing opportunity to perform with the National Youth Music Theatre, at Glyndebourne Opera Theatre.

My career had to change once I became a mum, which is why working within childcare became my second passion in life.

I feel extremely privileged to be working at such an exciting, passionate and creative school. I’m looking forward in seeing what the future holds for me here at Lanesend.
