Lanesend’s Primary School’s writing curriculum provides our children opportunities to discover their own writer’s voice.  Children will be immersed in high quality texts and be inspired by a diverse range of authors that engage and excite them. We want children to be able to write confidently, accurately and fluently in order to share their ideas, opinions and emotions with others. Lanesend’s writing curriculum is based on the Talk for Writing approach, providing a progressive sequence of learning which develops the skills, vocabulary and grammatical knowledge needed to produce high quality examples across a variety of genres; enabling our children to become lifelong, independent writers.
