This is my fifth year teaching at Lanesend Primary School, where I was lucky enough to get my first teaching post. I have been fortunate to have taught in Year 2, Reception and now in Year 1. I studied at Winchester University and have fulfilled placements in a range of schools across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. I was part of The University of Winchester Netball Team and I now play in the Isle of Wight Netball League.

“Give a child a fish and he can eat for a day. Teach a child to fish and he can eat for a lifetime”. This is my philosophy of teaching and this is the attitude that I bring to my classroom every day. To see my children tackle challenges with determination and become independent learners, with a love for learning is the most magical moment. I am a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher and I love every moment being in school with the children! It is important to me that every child feels safe and happy and are given the opportunity and the belief that they can reach their potential. I enjoy creating memories with the children that will hopefully stay with them forever.

I feel so proud and blessed to be a part of Team Lanesend, in a bright colourful school that is full of fun, love, positivity and happiness. Where every child is seen individually and are valued for who they are.
