Brownsea Island

Welcome to Brownsea Island class! We are a class of 18 year 6 children, looking forward to our final year, at our wonderful primary school. Our teachers are called Mr Read and Miss Johnson and our learning support assistant is Miss Finch.

Our class name represents the beautiful island of Brownsea, a small island off of the Dorset coast. Made famous by Lord Baden Powell and his scouting movement, the island has provided inspiration for authors, explorers and wildlife enthusiasts. Like our own island, it too, has a red squirrel population. We look forward to learning all about it!

We ‘love learning’ and make sure we support and look out for each other which includes our class responsibilities:

Bella, School Council representative

Shannon, Anti-bullying ambassador

Jimmy, SNAG representative and Nanci is our ‘Meeter and greeter’.

We ALL aspire to be positive role models and make good choices on a daily basis.
