Young Designers Award competition 2016

This year's entries for the Young Designers Award competition. The brief for this year's award was to design a new use for Totland Pier. Our children came up with some very imaginative ideas. Judging is due to take place on 13th March.

"Totland Pier was originally constructed in 1880, when it included an entertainment pavilion and was used as a landing stage for steamers on a day cruise around the island from the mainland. In recent decades the pier has run into disrepair - being struck by bad weather, vandalism and fire. The pier is currently closed to the public - so we are asking you to design a new use for it that everyone can enjoy!
We would like you to be as creative, outrageous and imaginative as possible!
Anything and everything will be considered! All shortlisted entries will be exhibited at the RIBA IW Awards ceremony and both winners and shortlisted entries will be published in the County Press." - http://youngdesignersaward.com/
