Jubilee Tree Planting

We were very fortunate to have Kate Collins and Rachael Ardley from Gift to Nature come to Lanesend with a tree to plant for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, as part of ‘the Queen’s Canopy’.

The sapling is from a seven-hundred year old Oak tree from the Nunwell estate. We feel very privileged to have received this. The children are going to keep a diary of the tree as they watch it grow and change over time.
