Welcome to Lanesend Primary School

Lanesend Primary School is bright, colourful, fun and optimistic; just like everyone in it.

We are an open primary school, providing education to children in our local community of Cowes and welcome others from around the Island.

We are very lucky to have a highly skilled and dedicated team. We take pride in seeing ourselves as a 21st Century learning centre in which our children and staff are supported and encouraged to enjoy their work and take every opportunity to develop and maximise their skills. At our school we are striving to be outward looking, seeking strong parental partnerships in helping foster our children's development. We are proud of the positive relationships that we enjoy with them and the warm feedback we receive.

As of the 1st September 2014 we became an academy school allowing us to create our own vision for our children, staff and families.

If, as a parent of a pupil attending this school, you require a paper copy of the information on this website, we shall provide this free of charge.

First boy's football game of the year

It was the turn of our under 11 boys to take to the pitch this afternoon for the first time this year. The boys formed so well as a team leading them to a 1-0 win in their first game against Cowes. Despite several attempts at goal we were unlucky to lose 1-0 against Gurnard.
Great work boys!
